    Default Questions to choose motherboard

Hello, I am thinking of buying a new motherboard as I do not OC, my budget can not exceed 100 euros (good thing I can stretch more)

I'm Beginning to work with video and my bottleneck is the HDD, so I think a RAID 0 and not the board will allow me, I accessed the BIOS and the option is not available and that the disks are SATA.

I put as much information as possible so as to bring better support ..

Will use the current processor and memory, so I then put the processor and memory (information provided by EVEREST)

    Processor

    CPU Properties:
Processor Type: QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
    Alias CPU: Kentsfield

    Processor Properties:
    Manufacturer Intel
    Version Intel (R)
    266 MHz external clock
    Maximum clock speed 4000 MHz
    Current clock speed 2394 MHz
    Type Central Processor
    voltage 3.4 V
    Activated State
    ZIF Upgrade
Identification of the socket Socket 775

    RAM

    SPD Memory Modules:
    DIMM1: Samsung M3 78T2953EZ3-CE6
    1 GB DDR2-667 DDR2 SDRAM
    (5-5-5-15 @ 333 MHz)
    (4-4-4-12 @ 266MHz)
    (3-3-3-9 @ 200 MHz)

In total I have 4Gb of memory, but only installing 3, the jig over to leave the board, if not the ire sell parts for buying a PC on my desk for the girl and an older P4 PC'll see if I can mount a Media center.

    Good grain

Motherboards that had seen the following, which I doubt is regarding the chipset, some appear P45, P35, P43.

As had been earlier, I would take my memory and especially the processor, the memory can not be because I would not buy another, if not much trouble and within the recommendations could be an ax cable with memories, if these are not worth that I have to put the plates below.

I was with the ASUS brand because it is pretty good also for the OC appeared to look good.

Tremendous speech "which I did, but did not want to leave things in the dark and after reading this post, I wanted to give more info as possible.

    Thank you.

I had 1 P35 DS3 for all you post is the only one that I tested buenaa good and goes very well if you touch going I would say that this quad you can put in almost 3000 plate without touching voltage. ( admits raid)
What is a crime is to get 3 GB of memory or put 2 or 4 never get angry impar.te the ass)

p-45 p-35 p-43 the only difrerencia for decantarte by one or the other is PCI Express graphics of the p-45 is compatible 2.0 versus 1.0 in which the p-35 but we will note that neither overwatering.

My vote for gigabyte P35 DS3 for quality and price so if you looking to buy a plate or web pages rather than a physical store to another site you can save 15 to 20 euros.

Of all p-35ds3 (DS3 eye) that do not sell now that crossfire is the only one I would buy today.

    Greetings

    edit:
I believe that this plot is 1.0, but even if you iva 2.0 to 1.0 to work well but I've had for a 2 gigabyte x38 this is also good cojoness eehhhh and I have not noticed Naito, but nait nait
And conversely I've also tested on a p-35 ds4 and so I do not feel naa
I must say that perhaps I am not neutral eh uncle had 5 gigabyte p-35 ds3l, DS3, ds4 x38ds4 CAPITALHIPHOP AM2 +770 DS3 (the dei ntel ido all I have as good stability and oc it such and such)

I add that I have is the graph GF 8800 GTS 512, not sure about 2.0 or 1.0 affects the performance, or 2.0 would be better to leverage the graphics to the fullest, thank you very much anyway.

I've read a few hours and something that I have not seen is what the RAID in the asus and the GIGA says nothing, but I guess it's almost certain to come ready to mount a raid.

What is plaque? It is very rare that a board that supports the Quad does not support Raid and some (though little) OC.

The plate I have is an MSI 7358 OEM that I bought a Medion.

The truth that I was stupid and I get carried away, but then had not found the forum and what they knew was not enough, every day you learn more things and you realize, in my case it was better to buy things I I go the PC arm.

He rebisado the BIOS, I upgraded to see if that was used to enable some options, but none of it has served.

when I go to the Integrated Peripheads / On Chip IDE Device

The only options I aperecen are as follows

    Enable IDE HDD Block Mode
    DMM Transfer Access
    In Primary Master Pio
    In Primary Slave
    In Primary Master UDMA
    In Primary Slave UDMA

    On Chip Secondary PCI IDE
    Legacy Mode Support

It is assumed that this would be the option to activate the RAID, but I do not see, unless you have to activate something else.

But know that BIOS is based on Intel G33 Express / ICH9R so if you have to bear RAID (yes, know how they can do. That in the manual

Thanks for the answers, theoretically should be able to mount a radio, but I think that being an OEM board, seems to be capada for it.

I contacted the technical servisio but apart from saying things that I knew the only thing they say is that you lose the warranty.

The first time you call I do not remember what was not, I let that maybe the problem was the audio card if he had played had played badly, that I say everything, went to contact them, they are a M .

    Sorry but I agreed jjeje.

Thank you RAID on this board I have searched for everywhere and nothing at all, I searched but no OC and good for now as it is, I think I will wait a little longer and I swap the plate below, this the fail to mount another PC.

    Again thank you very much.
