Thread: ASUS P5K motherboard

Recently purchased percent E8400 and put it on the ASUS P5K but bios not loaded, moved back to the old percent (E6550)… increased frequency of bus and 400 MHz, thereby removing percent to 3.6 GHz! the system worked! Turn off all and lay down to sleep with morning tried to include computer, but the system does not run, dismantle completely changed again percent, the situation remains the same! Food for the mother is (BP checked on another system) light on the mother-lit ... Many who spoke burned North Bridge; I would like to know is this true???

Dispersed E6550 bus up to 480 mg could not stand the bridge...
