Thread: Issues with p35-ds3p motherboard

I never had problems with motherboard. But I formatted PC, and installed win7 x64. I did not modified anything at bios, but now CPU clock differs from 2000 MHz to 2.83 GHz. I know there is choice to deactivate power saving, but cannot find it on gigabyte p35-ds3p. Any help will be appreciated.

There must be choice in bios below power saving known as speed step. Also disable C1E if required. If it is lost, maybe attempt to flash BIOS to new revision. Check with Hardware, it looks like you lost something when building PC.

If system is not beep when it starts then remove power supply, video card. Is pc suffering the overheat. Try to reset bios to new version. Check for any setting which incorrectly done.
