Thread: CPU usage issues in Acer

I have installed Vista on my laptop which has Nvidia graphic card. I am regularly playing games on it. But now problem is sometimes game lags. Laptop has Intel dual core processor and CPU usage reach up to 80% because of which game starts lagging. So provide me information about how to solve CPU usage problem in Acer Aspire 6920G. Thanks in advance.

I think there are many processes running in background. If some tasks appear while game is running then it is bound to lag CPU’s power. Thus disable all scheduled tasks of applications. Also earlier than running game, open task manager and stop all unwanted processor which are taking CPU time. Then start the game and see whether it lags or not.

If OS is not installed appropriately then CPU usage problems occur in the system. Thus repair or reinstall OS again. This will solve your problem.
