    Default X58a-ud3r

    Hi,
I have installed windows 7, 64 bit by default settings. After that changed to old AHCI by means of reg fix from Microsoft and after that altered the TRIM function. I had a software issue and had to work on a System Image recover. All displayed well but I am not getting the best performance, as well as I am wondering if I be need to install the Intel RST driver? With just one Solid State Drive and one HDD. Please advice me.

Hi, I do not understand what is the benefit in installing the Intel RST as I am sure it just helps by means of RAID arrays. It aimed over from the Matrix Storage Console. I wavt to know what speeds are you getting and where have you attached the Solid state drive (SSD) to? Please let me know so that I can provide further assistance.

I also have similar problem. I cover a 120GB drive with about 60GB space present. I have AHCI changed in BIOS. Do I need on the way to alter old IDE as well for the controller? How I will able to see the firmware? If you have any idea regarding to this please let me know your suggestion.
