Now you see variety of home media servers and HTPCs being sold with the parts to build your own. Currently using home media server for my PS3 and various computers so that I can switch and see movies. This also provides me the capability to pour music to all of the PC’s and other wireless Devices. With all of our home electronics becoming very much connected it’s commodious to have a media server.
It lets me to check the music and movies in any of the rooms with PC’s on them with either my Android phone or my iPad. The hypotheses are endless. Mini-ITX is a very little form factor about half the size of a mATX setup.
