Default GB reportedly process on additional for X79 motherboard

We reported on GBs upcoming X79 line-up previous week, and it appears similar to the company is proceeding difficult to throw in that small something additional. What you see above, is a Bluetooth 4.0 + WiFi card - comprising of a PCIe to small-PCIe adapter.

WiFi arrives courtesy of an Atheros chip set and 2 antennas. We are speaking about 150Mbps here though, and there is no MIMO support. The WiFi component of the combination, uses the PCIe attachment. As for the Bluetooth 4.0 component of the equation, the card links to the mainboard through a cable, and there is too a Universal Serial Bus slot on the card itself - internally.

It was difficult not to be effected through AMD's first 28nm graphics board, the Radeon HD 7970. Assuming the mantle of 'Globe's quickest individual-graphics processing unit', the 7970 - construct around a wholly revamped architecture - tore by our benchmarks and left entire last-generation cards lying in its wake as it churned out fresh steps of function across a broad range of games.

To that end, the producer has employed its new era WindForce 3X cooler that characteristics a small something dubbed "Triangle Cool" technology. What this means is that the heat sink resting exactly above the graphics processing unit consists of a triangular inner structure that, in GBs own words, "increases the efficiency of heat dissipation dramatically," and "minimizes the flow of turbulence among fans.

"We will search out perfectly how well it functions after in the review, but what you require to familiar just now is that the 7970 OC arrives armed with 3 ultra-quiet 80mm PWM fans sat above a graphics processing unit-and-memory-encompassing heat sink, a massive array of aluminium fins, and a trio of 8mm-thick copper heat pipes.
