Default GB X79-UD7 OC CPU board

This is Intel’s new enthusiast level chip set that will be substituting their X58 chipset. Early we begin assuming a look at this special board from Gigabyte let’s first go over few of the characteristics that this latest chip set has to offer.Right from the begin you can assure that this is something special.

There are random access memory slots just on either side of the board that gives you the power to adjust up to a whopping 64 gigs of DDR3 memory. This will permit for few really heavy video and graphical rendering power and it will too permit for velocities up to 2400 MHz with overclocking.

It too brings a latest memory architecture to the table named quad channel. This is supposed to make excellent addressing capabilities for the processor. We will have to see if this is in actual the case when we function our

benchmarks. One downside to this latest layout is that few central processing unit heat sinks might have clearance consequences with taller random access memory sticks.Another characteristics that this latest chip set brings is that it supports Intel’s latest 2011 socket processors.

These processors I highly recommend that you read to get an excellent understanding of how awesome these latest processors are. These basically are the latest enthusiast line of processors that will be substituting the 990x. We were supplied a 3960x and these processors created few of the highest scores we have always seen for a client level processor. Early these babies came out you had have to acquire a Xeon to achieve this level of function.

In other words this client level processor makes server level function.Intel has too integrated their Platform Controller Hub technology into this latest chip set. This is not an completely fresh characteristics but it does set this chipset apart from the competition. AMD even needs a North Bridge and a South Bridge on their CPU boards.

Intel is continuing to utilize a single chip to function communications among the processor and the several interfaces. In this way Intel has been capable to decrease the entire heat and power needs for their CPU boards.
