Default Memories 1066 or 800 MHz

Hi, just bought two Kingston Hyper memory modules of 2 GB each in 1066. When you install and check, which will see 800?

My motherboard is a gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 v1.1. I do not know if that will update the bios or change any voltage. The voltage to 1.8 and in this car and the only value that gives me 1066 MHz is 3.2 volts with a notice of over voltage. Wonder if these values, if I remember correctly, in the specifications of these reports indicate 2.2 volts.

Specifically, the two modules are KHX8500D2/2G.

Thank you very much for your help

For operating at 1066 MHz has to manually put in the bios.

What option are you playing? You must locate the "Over voltage control" and put it to +0.4 V.

The frequency is not exactly where you are, will not let me see the manual for your board from the Gigabyte page (I think it was an option called "System Memory Multiplier).

    Greetings

Javier Gigabyte discharges from the pages of American and European lately are failing; use the Asia and China I see that going well.

I am looking at the specifications that must be enabled in the Bios the option "CPU Host Clock Control" bring in "Enabled" and put the value "266" for operating at 1066 MHz, the voltage must also assume that you have already commented, or maybe doing this and leaving it in "Auto" and you apply it correctly ...

    Greetings.

Hello, thanks for the reply. There is an option that puts Over voltage control, I will change it and have it passed. I saw this option before but fear not load the plate do not touch anything or jejeje

to me it has worked well the gigabyte website for the manual of the plate. Normally to see the manuals and driver downloads Europe use FTP, so I always go and more or less quickly.

I will now prove these two things and I commented that I get. Thanks again

Do not put him in my previous post, but these are options that you commented on in the BIOS "MB Intelligent Tweaked (MIT). Try it on Auto to see if you recognize this and reports to 1066 MHz, and if not, and you manually adjust the voltage.

    Greetings

Changing the CPU Host Clock Control I have been down the processor speed, I have a Core 2 Duo E6550 and 2.33 I am going to almost 1.9. I have placed the value of 266.

By changing this setting gave me a warning, not whether it will be normal.

I've also changed the voltage of the memory and the CPU-Z puts me in DRAM Frequency 319.2 MHz, 400 less than it had before.

I have reset the CPU Host Clock Control as the voltage before and I left +0.4. Everything has to be as before and change the voltage does nothing, still reports to 400 MHz

What if I've noticed that changing the CPU Host Clock Control, putting the value 444 if I remember correctly, the bios tells me that the reports would be 1066, but I have not played well since then that value is that the multiplier used with my processor, right? So before I dropped the speed, because as I see in CPU-Z is the normal value of 333?

I hope not to have any such barbarity jejeje. Thanks
