    Default DDR400 memory

    Hello

Not very good overclock on. I have an Athlon XP 2400 on an Abit NF7-2 v2.0 2 memories of 1gb DDR RAM 400MHz RAM and a 512gb of DDR 400MHz.

The thing is that my memos go to 266 and I read this is due to the speed in which my process is working at 133 x 15.0 in their clocks; when I leave my cpu at 200 * 9.5 memos to reach my 400 will not start my pc, not even the bios out, and stays black marrow does nothing.

Most likely your processor this block of many that have not been able to start the fsb to 200.

I recommend and what is feasible q works for you. 400ddr to let the memories (not touching the fsb ...) after starting. See how you could go up the fsb.

    Greetings

If the multiplier was locked, do not even move ...... To leave it at ddr 400, but you can not go to work at 200Mhz.

Now as to the question of the friend, as you did, down the working frequency of your process did not rise since (133x15 = 1995, 200x9.5 = 1900) could leave him at 200x10 = 2000 What you should do is change the multi in a less abrupt, i.e. 15 to 14.5 or 14, if it works there and just start changing the FSB. And see where it is stable, since it also depends on how you let the process is going to rise the frequency of work... You must look at the temperatures of the process and be playing with the multi, until you achieve what you want, that apparently did not want to make an OC process.

In all the plates with the option in the bios of variation of multiple ALWAYS an option to change it, or not being blocked CPU.

The result (since the majority of CPU s is blocked) is null.
