    Default Asus P5LD2

    Hello everyone.

I pass this problem is to raise the mobo FSB to 225 does not start and returns to its default setting of the BIOS to 224 but has no problem as I had 6 hrs Prime95 and no errors as well as I tested and played and presents no problem so it's going to raise this to 225. Bios will be some protection?

Just need a BIOS is still immature and therefore is limited the other might have the memories with automatic and therefore from a given FSB, changing the divisor of the reports and do not want from there (which would also have to do with BIOS)

    Solutions:

-Update to the latest bios available
Manually configure the divider, of memories, inferior to those of manufactures, so you get a margin overclock to raise the FSB ..

PS can also be dealing with a limitation of the plate using the integrated video

    Greetings

If I echo the reports are that the 533 manual and I also try to download them now = 400 and followed that raised the PCI-e at 102 MHz and 225 well presents no problem, I've seen no recommended change in the least but I have a Conroe 1333 MB DDR667 with a process that puts to 115 MHz by default so if you mobo supports and I said that is normal.

Well, you've seen in some boards that work with the FSB to 333, they say use the PCI-E to 115Mhz, which is very healthy, actually do not manage... what we do, spend a couple of MHz is not so severe, 100 to 106 is an acceptable limit, the more risk there is no me.

As to what you say that you're not using the port PCI-E, in fact if you're using, you use the integrated video is connected... PCI-E is not only the physical port where you connect the external video card.

In short, if you go up a little stability on the PCI-E, then go, but that is not far up as 106 MHz to these quiet.

Thank you very much for this same thing happening with the Asus as running tests as you notice any term.

I was reading in another forum to this one OC say put the CPU and upload the PCI Bus 335-115 and reach the top, however the FSB to 420 but the 100MHz is this? And then the case would a micro bus 1333 is advisable to wear it to this board even though it would put the 115 MHz?

Is half the strange case of apparently? I do not believe that after the 400MHz FSB back to 100 PCIE frequencies rather think that the clocks are reset... because going over the 350 MHz FSB on an Intel 945 is like a suicide, not a chipset ready for work at these frequencies and phases of less power with which to mount the motherboard chipset that range of as to the question that if you had a micro 1333, you could put it without problems because nothing is lost because it provided for the security of the plate and if they say it is ok, because they are in their tests to be prepared the plate to hold a higher frequency where it should not be on a regular basis. But if your board does not say, therefore, is in your hands what might happen in the future with your investment... but should not be too 'serious' with the subject ... but it is logical that a SEAT IBIZA you can not fill turbo chargers to run at the same speed that makes it a simply because they require the turbochargers on the engine block of the SEAT and not last thing ... it can improve engine performance, but there is a certain limit healthy ... I think the same applies to the motherboard.
