    Default Questions related to memory

    1. 4 and a half months ago, collected in the system unit and the Nix took place memory:
    Kingston HyperX <KHX8500AD2K2/4G> DDR-II DIMM 4Gb KIT 2 * 2Gb <PC2-8500> CL7

And it is not drawing attention to the non-standard voltage, which as it turns out it is necessary to manually put knew that everything was billed correctly, but where is it in a month, I dropped all the BIOS settings to default and there is now auto-voltage memory. Everest has shown that stress the memory 1.8, a site Nix says the voltage should be 1.85 - 2.0. Question - how should I put the voltage for this memory? And how could not affect the voltage at the memory of standing in for about 3 months? In the sense that there can drop the performance of memory, or whether it might as damaged, but that performance systems and applications is difficult to say because it works.

    2. Po about the timing of memory. In Everest shows that the memory runs at 400 MHz and timing are 6-6-6-18. And Nix indicated 7-7-7-20 and I do not know whether to change them in the BIOS. I read the and realized that the reliability is better to change the timing on those that are listed on the site, but still not sure and ask to help. In doing so, if I changed the timing, what was it then set the voltage and I'm not quite sure whether it is or net. A also can not understand whether the change will have a frequency?

    3. Vchera flew from the main body of the fan and now works only if it is a little spin with their hands. As a result, computer work all day without it, although neither any heavy applications, I will not start. But the evening, installed the program from the disk mate. Boards and there showed that the memory is heated to 50 degrees. Question - Is it critical for her and at this temperature during continuous operation could the memory again damaged.

All your memory correctly, and not what is not if you will not climb in the BIOS, your working memory, and is currently working on a standard frequency 800mg (400mg x 2), and a standard voltage 1.8v, and the timing 6.h.h. x. Simply, it can still operate at a frequency of 1066mg and 7.h.h.h. AND THEN TO VOLTAGE raise up to 2.0v. That is your memory, you can chase, but if you do not understand and do not know how to do it, you better not do. Then everything will be fine!

Thanks for the reply, but still have one question. For this memory, as it is written, the voltage is not the standard and higher than that of DDR 2 to default or is it only for overclocking? But what I know in suppressing the memory in any case, the frequency and voltage to rise or I am wrong?

The temperature of the memory chips 50 degrees is normal, damaged and could not. Yes, you can raise the memory frequency, and to ensure that the memory would work stably, it is necessary to raise the voltage. Raise the voltage you need for overclocking.
