Thread: K9N SLI V2 - 6/7 BIOS Beeps but system runs fine

My K9N SLI V2 beeps 6/7 times throughout boot as well as I'm trying to figure out why. The system runs great, no crash or overclocks-ups or something like that. I've searched the MSI site as well as landed here through Google. Someone got any ideas?

Are these actually short beeps or very long ones? I just got a 790fx-gd70 as well as was getting 2 real short beeps previous to the regular beep. Turns out msi thinks it's an excellent idea to make the system bleep for each USB device that you have attached to the motherboard. In my case, the USB keyboard as well as mouse. Unplug all USB gadget, then see how many beeps you get.

I own the same motherboard with the similar problem. But, mine beeps any where from 2 to 4 times, but the systems seem to work excellent.
