Default Continuous long beeps on Gigabyte GA-ep35-ds3l

Well the last couple weeks my PC had been blue screen of flaking as well as dumping my RAM. So I determined to go into my bios as well as set my ram along with CPU to their normal running speeds (they were overclocked) to make out if it would help.

After that I shut my pc down as well as got some condensed air and cleaned it out good. But now it won’t boot!

When I boot up the whole thing gets power but I get no display on my monitor. I also get a continuous chain of long beeps (my manual says it’s due to a graphic card inserted incorrectly) which it isn’t ive taken it out numerous times to make certain the pins were connecting. I also reset my bios using a jumper on the MoBo and still no dice.

Unfortunately I don’t have any extra gears to switch out to see what’s immoral. Im going to purchase a cheap graphics card tomorrow as well as see if that works. Someone have any other suggestions?

Reset your RAM also. What RAM do you have? Can you get into the BIOS if you only have one stick in? If so, you might have to yourself set the RAM voltage if yours doesn't run on the JEDEC standard 1.8V.

Long single beeps signify a severe memory trouble with Gigabyte motherboards.

I can’t enter into the bios I get no display, Ive tried running it with just 1 stick in every slot. I think the RAM I have is critical 2 GB ddr2 pc6400 666 MHz x 2 is there a way to reset the voltage without getting into the bios?

Reset your jumpers on the motherboard (look into the user manual).
