I have heard that 1600mhz is not a very big speed increase from 1333mhz. Is this true? If so, how small of a speed increase is it?
Thanks

I've got the dominator 6GB DDR3 1600 kit from corsair on an overclocked i7 920, and the 1600 really is for bragging rights only. The only thing I'd be concerned about is getting crappy ram and then having it restrict your cpu overclock, but with the many bulk multiplier ratios that’s probably not even a problem.
ddr3 1600 cas7 is faster than ddr3 1333 cas6 and it’s cheaper, there is no reason not to buy it.
1333MHZ RAMs have mostly lower timings compared to 1600 models, 1600 models is faster but not much, the advantage of DDR3 1333 CAS6 is its lower timings which are better for OC'ng,they both are good one has faster frequency and the other one has lower timings.
