    Default Motherboard causes

My problem currently is what I believe to be the motherboards fault.
It’s a long story, but ill details it and see if any other member can assist me.
So 2 days ago my computer was facing some problems. Well I come back to this screen: I'm just like wow how could this happen? So I just load default and yeah (also had to like re-install LAN driver since I can't connect to aim, afire, windows update etc. without it) So I assumed it was my motherboard's battery that was running out of juice. So I called up asus, and after a couple of workers I get one that was like new man can't be the battery, so I ask him what his opinion? "I think it’s your operating system"
I’m like what did you just saying? Whatever bye. I highly doubt it’s my operating system, since had no problems earlier (windows 7 Rc1).

So I go out and buy a new battery and put it in. Everything seems to be running smoothly, but it happens again yesterday, though I was half asleep i forgot if it occurred, but it just happened again right now, same screen. This led me to eliminate the problem being the battery. Can anyone give me a reassurance that it’s the motherboard, or if I should fix it I or what the problem is? Thanks! Also, on a side note I also over clocked the day before the days ago, so 3rd day. I don't bring it up because; well all I did was raising the fsb from 333 to 400. And I don't see how that could mess with the battery, but just leaving it out there in case im wrong somehow about that.

The motherboard battery only holds the settings while the computer is turned off and unplugged. That is not your problem. It looks like an unstable overclock problem to me.

I bet if you don't overclock the problem doesn't happen. Run it at stock clocks and voltages for a few days. When you raise the fsb from 333-400 you are also raising the memory, and processor speeds among other things.did you change the memory multiplier too? how about the CPU multiplier?
