When one thinks of DDR2, the initial thing that springs to mind is high bandwidth but bad latencies. Those more experienced with DDR2 identify that of many ICs in particular, Micron’s Fatbody D9 are capable of much tighter latencies than even tightest DDR. Here we will be look at OCZ’s new Platinum edition PC2-4200.
This memory is depends on Micron’s Fatbody D9 chip, possibly only chips on market capable of doing this memory’s incredibly tight rated timings of 3-2-2-8, albeit only at 533MHz.
