Here are given hardware was used for testing:

• Mobo: DFI NF4 Ultra-D

• CPU: AMD A64 ‘ Venice’

• GPU: X800XL

• PSU: OCZ PowerStream 520w

• HDD: Samsung 80 GB SATA Hard Drive

• RAM: OCZ Gold 2-2-2

For this testing I had to twist memory settings around some. It was not plug-and-play like VX was. The major change I made was altering drive strength to level 8 instead of auto. This had a enormous impact on speeds I was able to get.
