The packaging for memory is pretty negligible. Then again, how much packaging do you actually want for a couple sticks of memory? Here’s a screen shot of front and back:
The package itself is not much bigger than memory it holds as shown above. One thing I like about this memory is that heat sinks are fairly attractive. No, this means nothing at all when it comes to performance, but with today’s PCs with windows and internal lighting, each little bit helps. Here is a two screen shots of memory, front and back:
Now I had memory out of the package, it was time to install it. This was simple, as EPoX motherboard has color coded DIMM slots for dual channel memory.
Actually there is not much to it simply line them up properly and push down until they connect into place. For beginners it says always ground before installing or handling any PC parts. Static electricity can and will destroy costly equipment if it gets chance.
