Once taking look at two of OCZ’s memory chips up to now, both VX and PC4800 have knocked our strikes off. The Platinum PC4800 was created to run on high FSBs, VX with low latency. Now we have other OCZ chip with low latency, Gold 2-2-2 PC3200. After OCZ set a truly high bar with VX, can new Gold 2-2-2 probably compare?
Initial thoughts
Since I evaluated VX, I had it running in my PC. I have grown rather attached to 2-2-2-5 while striking speeds as high as 260 MHz. When OCZ sent Gold 2-2-2, I was considering if this would compare to VX. I went here with less interest about this RAM. Let’s see what take place with it.
The Memory
This memory looks accurately like VX, less sticker label. The gold heat spreaders are a metallic gold, which looks good. If you have any lights, they will enlighten memory. It looks good.
