Here we look at Kingston's top end presenting into fan's market the HyperX PC3500 module. In my view, when building a system, first part you want to set your budget on are a good motherboard, with many options or features, a strong power supply, and high quality ram. If you build your machine around those core parts, you will be a force to be reckoned with, either side of AMD/Intel war you are on. Kingston has long been identified to have quality ram. Not best, most overclockable, but good ram none the less. They look to break mold with HyperX series.
It was recognized in 1987 and grown to be the biggest independent memory module company in industry, and is involved in DRAM procedure from dicing of wafer to encasing the integrated circuits to assembling module to checking end product. They also have careful testing procedures to make sure that memory they are selling will get advertised speeds.
Packaging and Specs
Kingston's HyperX comes enclosed in ordinary memory packaging, along with installation and warranty information. The PC3500 modules are rated at 434MHz 2-4-4-8-1T (CAS 2). The 512MB modules are dual bank, and come with blue aluminum heat spreaders. As declared by Kingston, HyperX is particularly engineered and checked for higher speeds and overclocking.
