This board is EPoX’s first board to utilize the new M1697 chipset from ULi. Capture a first look at this motherboard with us, as we find out how it fits into a market already filled with mid-priced socket 939 motherboards.

When this motherboard arrived, I was quite excited to try it out against the Biostar motherboard I was using in my system. I wanted to see what advantages, if any, the ULi chipset could give over the nForce4 chipset on my Biostar.
