VIA has just introduced a new motherboard in Pico-ITX EPIA-P820. The manufacturer took the opportunity to launch a housing adapted to Lilliputian dimensions of this map, the AMOS-3001.

A small computer

The EPIA-P820-loads components conventional for this type of platform. We thus find Nano U2500 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, a VX855 chipset supporting up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, an integrated Chrome9 graphics chipset, a SATA, PATA port and 5.1 audio controller and Gigabit Ethernet.

In turn, the AMOS-3001 box displays the measurements of 15 x 4.6 x 10.8 cm. It is relatively resistant to shocks (up to 70G) and temperature variations (-20 to +70 ° C). VIA has already begun distributing the motherboard and the casing, but the price of these products is still unknown.
