Flash memory drives are utilized to save and move data from one PC to another. Flash memory can be putted into PC that has USB drive. Like other types of memory, a file may by mistake be deleted from memory. Though it look miserable at the time, it is probable to go back and retrieve the file.

· Go to website which gives a free download for software Recover My Files.
· Download and install software by clicking "Download".
· Attach flash memory drive to vacant USB drive. Wait for PC to detect it.
· Run installed program by double-clicking new desktop icon.
· Choose USB flash drive in "Folder" tab. This tells program this is only memory device you want to scan for recoverable data.
· Click "Start" scan button and scan USB flash drive for removed files. This takes some minutes.
· Go through files it has found. Check the box beside files you want to recover and tick "Start Recovery." Deleted files are put back onto flash memory drive.
