Thread: CPU usage issues in Acer

I have installed XP on my Acer laptop which has NVidia graphic card. on a regular basis I am playing games on it. But now problem is sometimes game not responding. Laptop has Intel dual core processor and CPU usage reach up to 80% because of which game not responding. If you are having any suggestions then reply me. It can helpful to me. Thanks in advance.

I think there are a lot of processes running in background. If some tasks show while game is running then it is bound to pause CPU’s power. Thus stop all scheduled tasks of applications. Also earlier than running game, open task manager and stop all unnecessary processor which are taking CPU time. after that start the game and see whether it lags or not.

If Operating System is not installed correctly then CPU usage problems arise in the system. Thus repair or reinstall Operating System again. This will resolve your problem.
