    Default New memory problem

Just now I purchased set of G.Skill DDR 3 1600 memory with timings of 7-8-7-24-2N. I take this due to its low latency timings. When I place memory in system it began with timings of 9-9-9-24. Is this ordinary and modify timings yourself to get rated specifications? Please provide me any suggestions about this.

Yes you must set memory yourself. First be certain that mem vdimm is running at 1.5v. Then save and exit. Secondly timings, save and exit. Then lastly set speed to 1600, save and exit. This must solve your problem.
