The Dell Inspiron 1200 laptop is used by clientele and business persons alike. It is comparable to most laptops in that it has a not preset and upgradable recollection module pre-installed inside of it when it is purchased. You can upgrade how much memory is inside your PC with just a screwdriver and surrogate memory module.

Instructions

Step1

Turn off your Inspiring 1200 and unplug all cables from it, excluding the power cable. Disengage the battery, set it to the side and then turn the laptop upside down.

Step2

Remove the plastic memory element cover, located on the foundation of the PC next to where the headphone and microphone ports are located on the side of the computer.

Step3

Remove memory that is currently install by dispersion apart the metal clips that hold it in place and pull it out of the PC.

Step4

Install the new module by insert it into the slot at a point angle and then pressing downwards until the metal clip snap into place.
