Thread: It liable to use win xp x32 version for a system with x64 motherboard?

At current I have a system which is x32 but I’m think to buy x64 motherboard. So can I use my current win xp professional windows which are x32 version for my new motherboard? Or do I have to buy a new os depending on motherboard I purchase that is amd or Intel. Or is it possible to upgrade my present windows for my new motherboard.

I doubt the board is harshly 64bit orientated if not a particular server type board.
