Thread: DES is switched off

I am having a Gigabyte Motherboard with Windows XP in it Including 512 RAM. But it gives error Message as Verifying DMI Pool Data. "Warning: DES is turned off! Please use DES application to turn it on again!" "Press any key to continue.” Kindly provide me the correct logical solution to resolve the above issue. Any kind of information on the above issue would be appreciated.

Clear CMOS by pulling out battery on motherboard for some time or so. This set BIOS back to factory defaults.
