Corsair Dominator DDR3-1600 modules, the G. Skill Trident DDR3-1600, the Kingston HyperX DDR3-1600 and Super Talent WB160T12G9 nominally at least a little ahead: it is a DDR3 1866-kit, it therefore has a higher specified rate. The Corsair modules with the registration CMT12GX3M6A1866C9 have the previous kits, but even a little ahead of what the test can again be fair: They are very cheap Visually, the GT-Dominator modules certainly an eye-catcher: The red and black heat sink, they are the ideal memory for motherboards like the ASUS Rampage Extreme III or the Rampage III genes. In other could be a little extra red color disturbing, fully-stocked board but looks elegant when in any case. So, you can choose between the technically interesting and new 4-GB modules, or save some money and opt for a fully loaded.
The Dominator GT modules look similar to that of the other Dominator kits - the differences are essentially in the red fins on the top. These can be unscrewed to put on a water-cooling module, still provides Corsair Airflow fan, of course, the same one with it. This is the module lock clipped to the motherboard. The Dominator GT modules have the connection for the AirFlow-Memory Pro-Screen, the Corsair has unveiled at Computex. The display is similar to the early Pro-Series storage utilization. It also has the function that the module temperature is monitored and displayed in color. The AirFlow Pro module would have to be purchased separately and is not included:
