DDR3 memory is making its introduction very slowly, while their presence is barely noticeable except in high-end equipment. However, it soon will be as viable in all types of ranges that will not need to have a super-computer to provide DDR3 memory. The module prices remain high although down increasingly and soon will be affordable, just as they are now DDR2.

Starting a blow for the DDR3 to upper-middle ranges, today introduces ECS P45T-AD3, which is to be a clone of the P45T-A and analyzed at the time, it only has support for DDR3. However, ECS has made clear that this board is not a commodity, and makes the box that contains a little large and showy.

Since also belongs to the Black Series, the P45T-AD3 is again a black dragon with scowling. In addition to the make and model, they say it supports: 45nm, FSB 1,600 , DDR3 1,600 Crossfire X, PCI-Express 2.0 and PCI-Express Auto Gear.

But in the back have more. There is a picture of the plate and show us more features: high-speed DDR3 MIB utility in the BIOS, multichannel audio, GigaLAN, chipset Intel P45 or support Windows Vista, among other things.

The Black Series ECS retain a style very similar between them, so they should not be many differences between this board and others of the same series. Outside and see that the combination of colors used is very similar to each other, so nothing to say about it.

We are facing a board with ATX form factor . The distribution of the elements is identical to other Black Series: at the top is all part of the CPU with RAM and the north bridge, and at the bottom we have the south bridge and all necessary expansion ports.
