Thread: My Dell Inspiron 9300 Laptop's battery light is blinking orange four times, then green. Why?

The battery is charged but feels real hot. Is it overheating, going bad, what? I read somewhere else that it could be a motherboard problem.Thanks.

Yep, it is overheating. Turn off your comp. Remove the battery.Give it a break for a while.
