The beginning AMD Fusion APUs, codenamed Bobcat, have simply been launched. What's great, we've already delt to have a view at a wide range of mini-ITX motherboards using the dual-core Zacate flavour of the CPU architecture. Initial up is Gigabyte's GA-E350N-USB3 board.

Much like the Atom-based mini-ITX boards of earlier the GA-E350N-USB3 incorporates the E-350 APU onto the literal PCB itself. This is because there is just no socket option present from AMD.The board's colour scheme complies Gigabyte's traditional blue styling, though the heatsink for the APU and Hudson 'M1' southbridge is a mysterious silver, much like the heatsinks on Gigabyte's recent P55 and P67-based hardware.
