Thread: Motherboard onboard sound issues

Hi all,
Any clue why I can't get 5.1 sounds through the optical attachment? It allows me to configure it as a 2 speaker setup. I’m using the Non-DTS drivers in Vista 64.If I change to analog cables will it do full 5.1 sound?

You require playing a audio components that include 5.1 signal. Bulge in a DVD and see what takes place.
