Hi Guys, i have recently bought a new machine, which has a quad core i7 with 8GB ram.

Now say, i am moving say, 60 GB of data from one drive to another.
Why does, windows use only 1.8 GB of RAM and 1% of cpu when i have additional resources.

I can say that, my Ram is 8GB usable, and my CPU is capable of processing more than 4GB at one go, however i doubt that my hard drive is not capable of storing the received information at that pace, only because of this reason, the resources are consumed less.

Guys please advice, whether this is correct or not. Is there any way, to make my system to utilize more resources. so that it could perform better?

I am exploring these areas of learning, so any advice in this regard would be highly appreciated.
