Default Ineffective to set up Gentoo while utilizing Via epia-sn18000g motherboard.

Well, I'm looking to install Gentoo on your computer by myself. I have the VIA EPIA-sn18000g mothers. The system of the mine is commissioned and the material seems to be recognizable. After quick googling, I noticed that udev not started. Let me know how I can look at the udev service so I can make something work. Let me know if you have any useful instructions to solve the mine problem. Thank you very much in advance.

It's really hard to find the cause of the problem. Well I want on the hardware configuration of your computer? Do you have an error message on the computer? Have you ever installed a version of Linux? Can you give the message syslog error you get on the computer? Answer the questions above, as soon as possible.

As for the situation you mentioned here, I suspect that udev is not creating the device's hard drive. So, you use the SCSI subsystem, so you can access the block device on the computer of their own. must use the old-hd-rules so you can make the old / dev / hd name. if you do the same, you can use the / dev / a computer of their own.

On your computer you should see the file / etc / fstab is to use the / dev / sd__ the hard drive in your. root has been published by the files using tar files. I'll let you know that the tar file was created by VirtualBox. You can create neeto genkernel - menuconfig all to create and install the kernel on the system of yours. You should also use the initramfs, it would be useful to detect the hardware that can not change the root device.
