OC tools for any CPU board

Hello all. I am in the process of constructing a gaming rig from head to toes, which I purpose to OC (both GPU and CPU). However, I will have this job done through anyone else because I familiar some about hardware and I woud not to break or do anything mistake. I only saw a video of the Asus Rog GPU Tweak, which is just available for Asus Rog-ready mobo. Actually, I really require a tool similar to that.

Most producers supply tools that permits you to OC in Windows. Gigabyte do one. My non-ROG ASUS board has one. I am fairly sure ASROCK have one, I familiar EVGA do. Each manufacturer has their own basically, although given your setting, overclocking is the simplest thing you can do. The 2600K has an unlocked multiplier, which means you easy alter one setting in the BIOS and should have it functioning at 4 GHz in a matter of seconds.

I do not recently have a sandy bridge system, so I will leave the mobo recommendations out there to the remains of the Gurus, but OCing is not anywhere near as difficult as you imagine. Once you have OCed, you require to stress try your central processing unit/system utilizing a program similar Prime95 (P95), which loads the CPU so heavily and will crash your system if something is not stable. Have a look on google. There are loads of OCing guides to assist with this kinda thing.
