Ah the main board I have is an Asus – P5GD2-VM, so it should not engender troubles?

Affirms 600 mhz then perhaps you can put 2 banks of 600 that are 667MHz PC5300 as you presently have in short you can only purchase another bank from 1 gb to 667 Mhz.
