I have an Asus desktop having Windows XP Home and a Dell laptop having Windows XP Professional. I have cable broadband supplying a wireless modem. The desktop is attached by ethernet to router and laptop. My printer is attached to desktop. Both PCs can access the internet.
I have set all PCs and my printer to sharing but when I attempt to access printing from my laptop, or attempt to access shared folders on my desktop PC, it says I do not have access authorization. I can see my desktop when searching my Workgroup but it won’t let me in.
