Default How to export Importing Contacts from Outlook Express 6

While trying to import my address book from Outlook Express 6 into another pc with Outlook Express 6. The issue I'm having is I have my original address book divided into various folders....every folder represents a different kind of client. For example, 1 folder for recent clients; 1 for upcoming clients; 1 for regular clients, and so on. In importing, all the contacts seem to import, but only into 1 common folder. The separate folders (recent clients; upcoming clients; regular clients, etc.) doesn’t appears so all the contacts are mixed together in a "Main Identities Contacts" folder, so I confused about what kind of client each one is as they all are imported into a common folders. Is there a method to import my contacts where, After importing, my address book will be same as the address book that contains my original contacts with all the proper file folders reflected? I'm using Windows XP Home Edition. The reason why I want to import my contacts is that my old pc is pretty much messed up. May be I will have to wipe clean and I don’t want to misplace my address book, but if all the contacts are mixed together, they aren’t of any use for me.

    Hello,all

Try this solution it might help you solve the issue

Make a standalone WAB file through Start then Run and enter: WAB /new and name and store it. Then open it and resize it to use a part of screen. Now open address book in Outlook Express.

Go desired folder, choose any group member by highlighting, then select them all, and copy them to the clipboard. Now close the Outlook Express address book and click
in the address part of the new WAB file and paste the names in for each addition you have to hit OK, but it’s better then typing them all.

Now copy that new address book into a flashdrive or use the address book as a standalone for whenver you want to use it.

    Hi,friend

You can print the list from the saved address book and use it.
