Thread: Internet Explorer Browsers: Phishing detection

Why is that the latest version Firefox browser detects a particular web site being used for Phishing purposes however my IE8 browser doesn’t find the phishing web site though the Smartscreen is enabled.

The phishing filter used on Firefox varies from the one on IE because they have various databases and all. Similarly, a threat picked up by one might not be the same for the others. If not sure, take every notification seriously though some other browser may not pick it up.
