Default Port forwarding through 2 dynamic routers?

I have a Comcast business account with a static IP. I have a good Motorola modem but they will not allow business accounts utilize personal modems; we are necessary to use the modem they give. The modem they give however is a 4 port router, but I want a wireless network. So I have got my wireless router plugged into my modem/router. Internet works that is all great.

I would like to setup remote viewing for security cameras which I setup through a PC. The dvr / security software has it all setup, I now want to build port forwarding work.

I can only setup port forwarding / NAT rules for PCs that are keen up to modem/router. The only 'computer' hooked up to modem/router is wireless router. First I set 1-to-1 NAT to send all traffic from static IP given by Comcast to DHCP IP given from modem/router to wireless router. That did not do anything. Then I set it up so that all ports from 70-5000 automatically route to wireless router and that did not do it either.

It is got "True Static IP Port Management". In that I set it to open all of the ports. Then its got other sector for static routing. So I am attempting to set that up but I am unable to obtain that going without errors. What the heck do I require to do here.

Simply organize wireless router as a WAP using following method, that removes it is NAT layer and should solve this problem.

    hello,

I have many wireless devices though, including a wireless printer. I am very much sure that I require wireless device to have DHCP on. I require to see that I can turn DHCP off the modem/router.

    hi,friend

In reality, you do not want DHCP on everything but primary router. I had my system running this way with two secondary routers off primary router, and I can assure you that wired and wireless devices work just well. If you want them all in similar subnet, you only want one DHCP server running in the network.
