Default How to troubleshoot Wireless Network Adapter suddenly not working

    Hi everyone,

I am having problems with my Wireless Network Adapter. One day I went to a friend's home and put my HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop in my bag and when I got back home the light on front of my PC showed that my wireless was turned off, though when I taped switch so it would turn on the light still showed that it was off. I have run diagnostics on the wireless adapter many times to no available. It only brings me to a troubleshooting page and I have tried all options. I have tried restarting PC and disabling and enabling all wireless drivers. I have also upgraded all software concerning the adapter, but it still does not work. My PC uses Windows Vista as an operating system.

    Hi.

Go to "Network & Sharing Center", then ticking "Manage Network Connections" then discover wireless connection. Then right-click and "Enable".

Push Windows key and press R, then type devmgmt.msc Please respond to all the following steps. Under Network adapters, please tell me all the devices listed. Are there any devices under Network adapters that have a red x displayed? Also, are there any devices anywhere in the Device Manager display with yellow? Or! Displayed?

    hello,all

You do not show to have any wireless hardware that is identified by Windows. This is either a hardware problem with wireless adapter or it is disabled in BIOS.
