Default The Problems connecting wirelessly to the internet now but managed

I deleted a few things from PC that I did not feel that I was using but after this, my net did not work wirelessly, I have managed to get a wired connection but sitting in the hall with laptop is not best, I would like to get it up and running again, I have tried uninstalling all of my router and reinstalling and trying to connect wirelessly which has failed many times, I have been through website where they suggest troubleshooting but I cannot show to locate my problem.

When I go to network connections, there is only a Local Area Connection no wireless connection I don’t have a switch on PC to my knowledge and have not touched it so I do not believe that can be the problem, I have been to a few websites that have said hold function key and then press wireless icon key problem is I don’t have a key with the wireless icon on it but I know it works wirelessly because for the past 4 months I have been using it wirelessly. I have an Acer Aspire One series Model Zg5 and am running Microsoft Windows professional 2002 on service pack 3.

    Hi,all

On desktop screen, Push windows key and tap pause/break key, this must open system properties, click the hardware tab, and then press device manager button, when it opens, look for any items in the list with an exclamation point or question mark next to them. If anything marked with an ! or a ? Next to it mentions wireless, that means you have uninstalled the PCs internal wireless card by mistake. While checking these things, before you post back here, look around for any other model number or anything listed on the netbook. I verified acers aspire one support page, but it doesn’t list the zg5, which means it’s an add-on code, like the ones that walmart sells, look for a number that might start with the letters AO.
