Will an N router attach with a windows vista B/G WLAN? If so, then will speed be quicker or similar as a b/g connection will be and what would be the best router to get?

You want to set the router up to maintain mix types they have a drop down for this in most or else it will work with N if set for N. The speed for lowest connection is whatsoever, so if you utilize a B that 11, G 54 etc

I make use of a Linksys WRT160N and its setup for MIXED under wireless settings to maintain many devices like xbox, gameboys, and laptops running B, G and N with no problems.
