Attempt downloading flash player to a folder on PC. Disconnect from internet, stop firewall or antivirus then install. Before you go back on line be sure firewall and antivirus are on and running.
Hi,everyone
I am fairly new to using a PC, I am having problem installing adobe flash player, therefore I am unable to use YouTube and all other video play back sites, I have enabled JavaScript, but I got similar error message each time, that my security will not permit active x programs to installed, I continue attempting to obtain help online but as yet there has been a consecutive amount of so called "free help". I am using vista basic and McAfee security, and I am sure that I have not done something wrong. I hope there is somebody out there who will help me.

Hi,
Thanks for helping me so quickly.
I have tried downloading but I am having problem downloading flash player to a folder. Can you give me some information on how to do?
In my documents I have a folder named 'downloads'. When I download a program when box with choices of run, save, cancel appears, I choose save, then a box will open giving you a choice of where to save it. I select my documents, then folder for download. Then it downloads to that folder. When it is finish, and I am off line, I go to that folder click on the program I want to install and click on it and the installation starts.
I have been attempting with other downloads which are working well but I am not getting the run ,save, cancel screen up for flash player, I am just getting a bar saying that my security will not permit page to be shown, I have disabled security but it's still blocking me?
Sometimes, when attempting to download a program, IE will put the bar on open window that it blocking it. If you click on that bar, generally you will see that you can give it permission to download the file and a couple other choices.
when the bar appears the only thing it says is more information ,then window it goes to help and support page it never gives me any other options.
Hello,all
Can you tell me what web browser are you using? Firefox or Internet Explorer?
What version of windows you have?
I am using interet explorer and my operating system is vista.
Have you tried uninstalling Internet explorer then re installing it?
do you mean just explorer software? Will I be able to get explorer back on a download or is it on my start up disk that you mean.
I have managed to obtain some play back but I am getting problems still, it shows to be buffering but just freezes what could that be?
