Default The New Upgrade Installing Windows 7

    Hello,everyone

I determined to give windows 7, look like I had to format my windows partition anyway. I booted from disc, chosen partition I required to install win 7 on and under advanced options I chosen format partition.

Assume formatting had just been planned to occur before install I proceeded with installation. When setup began copying files and expanding them.

Thus I am afraid now, is windows 7 installing on top of windows vista? Or is it actually feasible my partition was formatted in a few seconds?

    hi,

It will not install on top. Yes quick format can take place very fast.
