I have an hp pavilion laptop having vista with win mail & a desktop running xp oe6. I have been attempting to copy my old email messages from oe6 to win mail. I exported dbx files from oe6 to an external usb hard drive; then attached hdd to laptop & tried to import from win mail by browsing to location of copied files. Every time I do file/import/messages from win mail & go to folder that has dbx files from oe6 it says that there are no mail files. I am following Microsoft’s instructions exactly. I surprise if my winmail file extensions are incorrect.
