Thread: My Video driver not supported by Windows vista

Hi,everyone

The nvidia nforce 430 driver which is xp friendly is not getting installed in vista. I want a well-suited driver which is friendly to vista. I had downloaded a driver Nvidia nforce 400/410/430 for vista-32bit from a site, when I install it. It gets installed but it is not detected by operating system. Can u tell me which driver should I use instead of nforce 430, and graphics driver? My motherboard is asus-sx, processor amd athlon.

The place for Nvidia drivers is Nvidia itself, you must enable to obtain installed and browsing using SVGA but without 3D acceleration such as Safe Mode with Networking.

There website wizard must take you to right driver, or tell you if your GPU is no longer maintained. They do appear to archive legacy drivers, so possibly with some digging you could locate an outdated Vista one for you GPU if it was "end of lifed' in the last couple of years.
