Thread: Windows XP's Sound Recorder Windows Vista Equivalent

Hello,all

With XPs sound recorder I was able to record sounds from what was known as "mixer", which was all various sounds that come from difference programs and things from PC.I never had to install something to obtain feature on XP, and I was surprising where Vista equivalent? I go to Control Panel/Sound and single thing listed under my recording devices is my built in microphone. How do I obtain mixer, or record the sounds that comes from my PCs programs?

In Vista, you may have to enable Hidden Recording Devices.

All Programs menu>Accessories>Sound Recorder.
